We love seeing how you style Cotton Postcards in real life. By sending us your photos/videos/reviews (collectively, “Content”) via our submission form, you are agreeing to the rules and terms below. If you don’t agree, please don’t tag, send, or otherwise submit Content.
This page is provided for clarity and transparency. It is not legal advice. If you have questions about your rights, consider speaking with an attorney.
1) Who Can Participate
- Age: You must be 18+ to submit Content.
- Location: Open to U.S. residents.
- Access: You’ll need internet access to complete the submission form.
- Recent purchase required: To be eligible for points and drawing entries, you must have purchased a Cotton Postcards product within the last 6 months (from the submission date). Please include your order number (or the purchaser’s name/email if it was a gift) on the form for verification.
2) How to Share (Form Submission)
- Primary method: Submit your photos/videos and a short caption/review using our #WhereYouWearItSubmission Form located above.
- Optional social post: You're welcome (but not required) to post on social and tag @cottonpostcards and/or use #WhereYouWearIt for community vibes. We might not see private accounts, so the form is the official channel for participation and permissions.
- Uniqueness: Each photo must be materially different (e.g., different background, angle, setting, or activity). Same outfit is okay; duplicate or near‑duplicate images won’t qualify for points/entries.
- Permissions: Only upload Content you created or that you have permission to share. If other people appear, you must have their permission.
- Safety: Please avoid precise locations (home address, school name, GPS details) in captions or visible within the image/video.
- File tips: JPG/PNG or MP4 preferred. Recommended resolution: at least 1080px on the shortest side; avoid heavy filters that alter true product color.
- Credit: Include your Instagram/TikTok handle in the form if you'd like us to credit you when feasible.
- Required consent on the form: To submit, you’ll check boxes confirming that (a) you are 18+, (b) you have rights/permissions from anyone recognizable, (c) you grant us the license in Section 5, and (d) you agree to these Rules and our Privacy Policy.
3) Rewards: Points & Monthly Drawing
- Points: Earn 200 rewards points per accepted, unique image, up to 3 images per calendar month (max 600 points/month). Points have no cash value and are subject to our rewards program terms.
- Entries: Each accepted image (up to 3 per month) also counts as one (1) entry in our monthly drawing for $25 store credit.
- Reset: Monthly limits reset at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time on the 1st of each month.
- Approval window: Submissions are reviewed for eligibility and brand fit. Points/entries are typically issued within 7–10 business days after approval.
- Disqualification: Duplicate/near‑duplicate images, AI‑generated/stock images, or Content that violates these Rules will not receive points/entries.
- Eligibility reminder: You must meet the recent purchase requirement in Section 1 for points/entries to be issued.
3) What We Look For
- Real‑life styling, travel snapshots, mirror selfies, detail shots of prints/embroidery, and honest reviews.
- Natural, kind, and on‑brand visuals.
4) What We Don’t Accept (Moderation Rules)
We may decline or remove Content at any time that includes or appears to include:
- Minors: We do not publish images with identifiable children or minors.
- Hate, harassment, or dangerous content; illegal activity; nudity/pornography; graphic violence.
- Infringing or unauthorized material (e.g., someone else’s artwork or trademark without permission).
- AI‑generated or stock imagery presented as your own photos.
- Spam, misleading claims, or off‑topic promotions.
We reserve the right to hide, remove, crop, or refuse Content at our discretion.
5) Rights You Grant Us (License)
You retain ownership of your Content. By tagging/submitting, you grant Cotton Postcards a non‑exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty‑free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, adapt, modify, crop, and create derivative works from your Content in any media now known or later developed, including but not limited to:
- Our websites, product pages, and galleries
- Organic and paid social media
- Email, SMS/MMS, and push notifications
- Digital and print advertising, PR, lookbooks, catalogs, trade/wholesale materials, market booths, and packaging
We may edit/crop/retouch for formatting, sizing, or brand consistency. Credit: When feasible, we’ll credit your handle/name; however, placement and format of credit isn’t guaranteed.
6) No Compensation or Endorsement
- Participation is voluntary and no purchase is necessary.
- You understand that no compensation is owed for our use of your Content unless we explicitly agree in writing.
- Our reposting or featuring of Content is not an endorsement of any views or third‑party products.
7) Your Promises (Representations & Warranties)
By submitting Content, you confirm that:
- You are 18+ and have full rights to the Content, or you are a parent/guardian submitting with consent for a minor creator.
- You purchased a Cotton Postcards shirt within the last 6 months (or received one as a gift and can provide the purchaser’s details for verification).
- The Content is your original work (or you have the necessary rights/permissions), and our use will not violate anyone’s rights (including copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights).
- Everyone recognizable in the Content has given you permission for our use as outlined here.
- The Content complies with these Rules and all applicable laws.
- You will not submit AI‑generated, stock, or previously submitted images as if they are new; you agree to cooperate with verification requests (e.g., order number, original files, EXIF data) if needed.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cotton Postcards and our owners, employees, and agents from claims arising from our use of your Content in line with these terms.
8) Removal / Opt‑Out
Changed your mind? No problem.
- Form submissions: Email hello@cottonpostcards.com with your name, the email used on the form, and the Submission ID (or approximate submission date and a screenshot). We’ll remove your Content from our social channels and website galleries within 7–10 business days where feasible.
- Social posts (if any): If we reposted something from your social, you can also comment “Please remove” on our post to flag it.
- Limitations: We can’t recall previously printed materials, archived emails, or third‑party shares we don’t control. Future use will cease once removal is processed.
9) Monthly Drawing — Official Terms (Summary)
Unless otherwise stated on a given month’s announcement, the following apply:
- Sponsor: Cotton Postcards, Caldwell, Idaho.
- Eligibility: U.S., 18+, and meets the recent purchase requirement in Section 1. Void where prohibited. Employees/contractors/affiliates and immediate family/household members are not eligible.
- How to enter: For each month, each accepted unique submission via the official form equals one (1) entry, up to 3 entries per person per month. Entries do not carry over to future months.
- Prize: One (1) winner per month receives $25 store credit (ARV $25). Not transferable, no cash value, may not be used to buy gift cards, and cannot be combined with certain promotions or stacked with other credits unless we say otherwise. Credit typically expires 30 days after issuance.
- Odds: Depend on the number of eligible entries received that month.
- Drawing & notification: Winner selected on or about the first business day of the following month and notified via the email provided on the submission form. Winner has 48 hours to respond; otherwise, an alternate may be selected.
- Taxes: Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes/fees.
- General: We may disqualify entries that are incomplete, ineligible, tampered with, or violate these Rules. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the drawing if fraud or technical failures impact fairness.
- Platform: Not sponsored/endorsed by Instagram/TikTok/etc.
For other promotions or limited‑time giveaways, additional terms posted at the time of announcement will apply and are incorporated by reference.
10) Optional Social Tags & Platform Disclaimers
Posting on social media is optional. If you choose to post and tag @cottonpostcards and/or use #WhereYouWearIt, note that #WhereYouWearIt is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X, or any other platform. You release those platforms from liability related to your participation.
11) Privacy
We handle personal data according to our Privacy Policy (see link in site footer). By submitting Content, you acknowledge our collection and processing of your handle, image/video, caption, and any information you share for the purposes described in Section 5.
12) Trademarks & Intellectual Property
“Cotton Postcards” and related marks, logos, designs, and product names are the property of Cotton Postcards. Do not use our marks in a way that suggests sponsorship or endorsement without written permission.
13) Disclaimers & Limits of Liability
Content appears “as is.” We are not responsible for:
- User errors (wrong tags/handles), unavailable platforms, or technical issues
- Third‑party reposts or misuse beyond our control
- Any loss or damage arising from participation, to the maximum extent permitted by law
14) Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. Venue for disputes shall be in state or federal courts located in Canyon County, Idaho.
15) Changes to These Rules
We may update these Rules from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version. Continued participation after changes means you accept the updated terms.
